Welcome to North Kohala
Steeped in history, North Kohala is the oldest portion of land on the island as well as the birthplace of King Kamehameha I. In modern times, Kohala was home to sugar cane plantations and continues to be home to sprawling ranches and agriculture. Made up of a few small towns, with Hawi as the main hub, North Kohala is made up of long time familes and those seeking a more rural lifestyle. Properties range from century old homes in the plantation camps to large acreage parcels.
